Location
Bordertown is situated in the Tatiara (an aboriginal word meaning 'Good Country') and takes its name from its proximity to the South Australian/Victorian borders. It is located on the Dukes Highway, 280km east of Adelaide and 450km west of Melbourne. The town and its surrounding areas are richly agricultural and support cereal crops, wool production, seeds, dairying, viticulture and horticulture.
